The Effect of Salt Stress on the Germination and Seedling Growth Parameters in Birdsfoot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus L.)

This study was carried out to determine the response of birdsfoot trefoil salt stress during germination and seedling growth. The seeds (Sarıyıldız variety) used as material. In study; 6 different doses NaCl (pure water (control), 250 ppm, 750 2500 5000 10000 ppm) applied emergence. Germination experiment in darkness (20±2 °C) petri dishes according completely randomized design with 4 replications. Observations were made every day at same time, radicle length exceeding 2 mm considered germinated. According results research, concentrations many features terms development statistically significant. Increased negatively affected all properties examined lowest values obtained ppm application.
